Designed by Vico Magistretti One of the great luminaries of Italian design, Vico Magistretti specialized in creating industrial furniture with a timeless appeal. Born in Milan in 1920, he graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1945 and subsequently joined his father's studio, focusing on urban planning and interior design. His innovation and passion has been recognized over the years through numerous design awards and the exhibition of his creations in New York's Museum of Modern Art. Generous in scale, the Upholstered Cirene Chair offers a modern twist on comfort. Both the arm and armless chair stack up to 10 high for easy storage,and a factory-installed, chrome-plated ganging mechanism, stored underneath the seat, is available for use in auditoriums, training areas or waiting rooms. The Cirene Chair is available in ten upholstery options and a stacking version is also available.
